Mr. Drummond's Web Page

The 7th Grade and the entire HFRS community mourns the passing of our wonderful 4th grade teacher Mrs. D.  We know she rests in peace with Jesus our savior to whom she dedicated her life in education to.  We give thanks to God for the gifts of faith, knowledge and service she communicated to all of us.

The 7th Grade visited PHILADELPHIA on Wednesday May 9th

2018 liberty bell

Our students visited Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell Exhibit as well as many other important historical places.  We even sampled the best Philly Cheesesteaks the city of Philadelphia had to offer.  All in all it was a great trip.  Thanks to our parent chaperones who helped make this a wonderful experience for all!

This year our Middle School Students are using technology
on a daily basis in their social studies classes.  We acquired
new iPads and use them along with our new online Social
Studies textbook.  We embrace these resources and are
delivering the new Common Core curriculum in a
21st Century manner.

The end result is that our students are enthusiastically
engaged by the new and innovative approach.
